Account & data

Delete your BeatMe account

This page is for BeatMe, the daily-games app published by FractalX. It explains how to have your account and its data permanently deleted, exactly what gets erased, and what — if anything — we keep.

Option 1 · Fastest

Delete it yourself in the app

If you still have BeatMe installed and can sign in, deletion is immediate and needs no help from us. It takes about fifteen seconds.

  1. 1Open the BeatMe app and sign in to the account you want removed.
  2. 2Tap Profile (the tab with your avatar).
  3. 3Scroll to the About section and tap Delete account.
  4. 4Confirm in the dialog. Your account and data are erased right away, and you are signed out.
There is no grace period, no cooling-off window and no way to restore the account afterwards. If you only want a break, sign out instead — that changes nothing about your data.

Option 2 · No app needed

Ask us to delete it for you

Already uninstalled BeatMe, lost the device, or cannot sign in? Submit the email address on your account below and we will delete it for you. We reply to every request within 30 days, normally within a few days.

  1. 1Enter the email address linked to your BeatMe account in the form below.
  2. 2Tick the confirmation box and tap Request account deletion.
  3. 3Watch that inbox. We email you to confirm you own the address — this stops someone else deleting your account.
  4. 4Reply to confirm. We erase the account and email you when it is done.

If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, use the private relay address Apple gave you — it is the one we hold.

Prefer plain email? Write to admin@fractalx.io from the address on your account, with “Account deletion request” in the subject line. That works just as well.

What gets deleted, and what we keep

Deleting your account removes your personal data from BeatMe. A small amount of information survives, either because it is no longer linked to you or because the law requires us to hold it. Here is the whole picture.

Deleted permanently, straight away

  • Your account and sign-in credentials — email address, password hash, and any Apple or Google sign-in link.
  • Your profile — display name, avatar, birth year, language and notification preferences.
  • All of your gameplay data — scores, placement points (gems), play attempts, personal bests, game ratings and rewarded-ad records.
  • Your standings entries, season results and season recaps.
  • Your group memberships, join requests and any invite codes you created.
  • Every chat message and reaction you posted, in every group.
  • Your push notification tokens, so no further notification can reach your devices.
  • Your gameplay diagnostic events (which game, which platform, which app version).
  • Reports you filed and reports filed about you.

Kept, but no longer linked to you

  • Groups you created stay alive for their remaining members, with your name detached from them. Deleting your account must not destroy other people's league history.
  • Aggregate statistics — for example how many people played a given game on a given day. These are counts, and cannot be traced back to you.

Kept for a limited period, and why

WhatHow longWhy
Server and security logs containing your IP address30–90 days, then deleted automatically by our hosting providersSecurity, abuse detection and debugging. Not used to profile you and not reconstructible into an account.
Record of the deletion request itself (your email, the date, the outcome)12 monthsProof we honoured your request, in case you or a regulator asks us to show it.
Ban and enforcement records, if your account was suspended or bannedUp to 24 months, or longer during an active disputeSo a ban cannot be sidestepped by deleting and re-registering, and so we can defend the decision if challenged.
Backups of our databaseRolling window of up to 30 daysDisaster recovery. Backups are not queried in normal operation and your data disappears from them as the window rolls forward.
Data held by third parties has its own lifecycle. Advertising identifiers sit with Google and Liftoff, not with us — reset or delete yours in your device settings. Deleting your BeatMe account does not delete your Google or Apple account, and does not uninstall the app.

Alternatives

Less drastic options

  • Just want the notifications to stop? Profile → Notifications, or turn them off in your OS settings.
  • Just want fewer targeted ads? Profile → Ad privacy reopens the consent form.
  • Want a copy of your data before you go? Email us and we will send it as JSON within 30 days. Do this before deleting — once the account is gone, there is nothing left to export.
  • Want to leave one group but keep playing? Leave the group from the group screen; your account stays.
